Paq, Wanderer of Ada Ev introduces readers to a fresh, new fantasy world in which the Beloran oversee the lives of mortals. The Beloran are an immortal race who do not sleep during the long ages of their activities among mankind, but every now and then they withdraw from the mortal regions of Ada Ev and enter a period of semi-consciousness, which can last for many generations.
The Setting
Book 1 begins with final preparations by the Beloran race to enter their long period of rest just as they are learning of a dangerous challenge to their care of mankind. Their dormancy cannot be delayed, and so they enter their rest and commit their mission to those among mortals who are gifted with powerful abilities similar to their own.
Generations later, young Paquin Imdarah feels the powerful stirrings of his first call as a Wanderer. He begins his journey northward, unaware that he is traveling into the world of the Beloran along with other formidable, gifted individuals. Paq must lead them all, discovering the identity of one who travels with them as they move through regions on the brink of war.
